Mary Anna Chasteen

Mary Anna Chasteen, age 95 of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at Kettering Health Miamisburg. She was born February 24, 1927 in Rock Castle County, Kentucky.

Anna lived an amazing 95, almost 96 years, but she was ready to go to home to be with the Lord, her husband, and her children who passed before her. Anyone who met her immediately loved her. She wasn't just a peacekeeper, she was a peacemaker. Anna brightened more lives than she probably even realized, and she was the sweetest, strongest soul you could ever encounter. She will be greatly missed.

Anna is survived by her daughters, Robin Chasteen (Mark) Blair and Sherry Chasteen; and was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as 4 step-sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Miller and Elizabeth Cope; husband, Phillip Theodora Chasteen; children, Charles Phillip Chasteen, Bill Chasteen, Betty Rowland, Lucy Miller, David Chasteen, and Mary Hymer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Southbrook Christian Church (9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342). Funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin, Ohio.
