Mary K Caughey, age 66 of Venice, FL, formerly of Hookstown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Herbert and Mary Lawson. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed spending her free time at the beach and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Caughey; and father, Herbert Lawson.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Robert (fiancée: Shannon Klaus) Baker and James Baker; mother, Mary L. Lawson; siblings, Charles Lawson, John Lawson, James Lawson, Stephen Lawson, Teresa Stevens, and Patrick Lawson; grandchildren, Taran, Nicholas, and Madalynn; life-long friend, Marge Kearns; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
