Mary C. Carnes

Mary C. Carnes, age 84 of Dayton, passed away February 8, 2018. She was born May 29, 1933 in Dayton to the late Claude and Mary Rainer. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Carnes; sons: Buck Carnes and Harold Carnes; brothers: Charles Rainer, Junior Rainer, Glen-Ralph Rainer and Johnny Rainer; sisters: Margaret Greer and Dorothy Kincer.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Joyce (Jim) Storck, Tammy (Chuck) Chambers, Lynn Carnes, Becky (Kevin) Selby and Michelle (Tony) Groves; daughters-in-law: Tonya Carnes and Candi Carnes; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers: David (Maria) Rainer and Paul (Emma Jean) Rainer; sisters: Shirley Shannon and Frances Phillips; beloved furry companion, Jasper; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. To leave a special message for the family select "Share Memories".
