Age 77, went home to be with the Lord Saturday February 14, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel after 53 years of marriage. Parents Frank and Mattie Gavin, Lum, William, Walter Frank Gavin and Rosemary Fowler.
Mary was born in Clifftonville MS.
She was a faithful member of Apostolic House of Prayer and loved praising God. She was employed at Washing Manor Nursing Center for 20 years.
She leaves to cherish 3 daughters Princess Stevenson (Kelvin) Barbara Bush, Audrey Byrd and Nathaniel Bush. Grandchildren Betttina Torres (Carlos), Nicole Richards (Gary), Aaron Stevenson (Tarajee) Daniel Stevenson (Noemi) Tyson Bush, Charles Franklin, Nathan Bush. Great grandchildren, Qualise, Brianne, Isabella, Daniella, Shylyn, Leah, Jurnie, Isiah, Kahlil, Shylyn, Dochamel and Christopher. Sisters Bessie Jones, Dilsa Thompson, Maggie Poole, Ann Gavin, Mattie Adell Joiner and Velma Gavin.
The family will be receiving friends 1 hour before services at Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church at 11:00 a.m located at 3701 Salem Ave, Dayton OH. Pastor Dr Craig High.
