Mary L. Browning

Mary L. Browning, age 84 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on April 20, 2024. She was born October 13, 1939 in Ironton, OH to the late Alamander and Evelyn (Jewell) Leach. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson F. Browning; son, Emerson R. Browning; daughter, Cheryl "Cheri" F. Fannin; grandchildren, Kyle A. Hunt and David R. Sage; siblings, John Leach, Charles "JR" Leach, Hattie Clark and Geneva Flood.

She is survived by her three daughters, Teresa (Mike) Barrett, Tina (David) Browning and Ashley (Dylan) Browning Manzo; 6 grand kids, Nicole, Erica (Evan), Emer, Abraham, Heather (Kenny), Josh.; 12 great grandchildren; brother, William Leach and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Mary was a dedicated wife to Emerson for 68 years and mother to 5 children. She owned and operated a small store named "Nearly New", where Mary enjoyed buying and selling used furniture and home furnishings.

Family will receive guests from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Mary will be laid to rest next to Emerson at David's Cemetery following the service.
