Mary Bonner

Mary "Jill" Bonner, age 71, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Jill was born in Nevisdale, KY on November 16, 1946 to the late Luther M. "Luke" & Georgia E. Rose Perkins.

The great loves of her life were her family-for her that included her husband, sons, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and many children that she loved over her years of working at the school; her extended family of nieces and nephews that love and adore her, and a long line of furry creatures that she loved.

She had a great love for lighthouses. That passion led her on many wonderful trips to see them.

Jill and her husband raised their sons in California, but moved back to Ohio after retirement to enjoy the company of her family.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Phyllis A. Perkins Mashburn, Wendell D. Perkins and J. Norman Perkins.

Jill is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Walter Allan Bonner; sons, Chris "Kissy" Bonner and Walt "Sgt. Sonnie" (Linda) Bonner Jr.; grandchildren, Adam (Kaitlin), Kyle, Destany (Jodi) and Brandon; sisters, Judy (Tom) Perkins Moorman, Aileen (Pat) Perkins McClelland and Alice "Ali" Perkins; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 1-3pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
