Mary A. Batin

Mary A. Batin, age 67, of Beavercreek, passed away on September 8, 2024. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 13, 1957, the daughter of the late William and Sara Batin. 

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Chris (Heather) Batin, Joe (Barb) Batin, James (Sharon) Batin, Therese (Michael) Slyby, Bill (Mary) Batin, Cathy Batin and Tony (Kristi) Batin; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

In her free time, she enjoyed sending greeting cards to those she loved and reading her Bible. Mary faced many struggles throughout her life, but always kept her "Rise Above" spirit and kept her bright smile and infectious laughter. She touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Mary will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery following the service.

In keeping with Mary's kind heart and indelible spirit, her favorite and most quoted Bible Scripture was: (Psalm 118:24) "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
