MOORE, Mary Ann, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Elmcroft of Xenia after a lengthy illness. She was born December 22, 1919 in Dayton, OH and graduated from Steele High School in 1937. She was a long time member of Grace United Methodist Church in Dayton, and a member of P.E.O. Chapter AK of Dayton for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Burt D. Moore; sisters and brothers-in-law Virginia and Clifford Reid and Dorothy and James Reid of Dayton. She is survived by her sister, Florence and Joseph Hirsch of Dayton; nieces Josephine and Jeff Inslee of Yellow Springs; Catherine and William Lewandoski of Leander, TX; nephew James and Deborah Reid of Dayton; step son Charles A. and Judy Moore of Dayton; step daughter, Karen and Tad Dourdeville of Marion, MA; grandnieces and nephews Aimee Inslee of Chicago, IL; Brian Inslee of Yellow Springs; Josie Delaney of Austin, TX; Andrew Lewandoski of Beaverton, OR; Craig A. Reid of Dayton; grandchildren Ashleigh Roque of Toledo; Tyson Moore of Toledo and to dear friend and care-giver, Jill Verberg of Centerville. The Family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton and Elmcroft of Xenia for their professional and loving care of Mary Ann in her time of need. Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. The Family will receive friends from 9AM until time of service. A private burial will be held at Woodland Cemetery. The Family has suggested in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
