LONSERT, Mary Ann age 82 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her son Michael D. Lonsert, her parents William H. and Marguerite Duffy; brothers Jack and James Duffy. She is survived by Elmer, her loving husband of 60 years, her son Mark and wife Lori Lonsert of Washington Twp.; grandsons Ben and wife Ashley, Cory, Pat, Reece and Joe.; great granddaughter Marley Mae; sister-in-law Maxine Duffy; special dear friends Trish Hughes and Mary Jo Richards; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary Ann graduated from Julienne High School Class of 1946. She graduated with her Bachelors in 1966 from The University of Dayton, achieving her Masters Degree in 1974. She retired from Mad River Twp School system after 30 years of service. Prior to retiring from Mad River, she taught at Immaculate Conception for 8 years. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Silver Oaks Professional Women's Association. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful teacher. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary Ann generously donated her body to Wright State for the advancement of medical science. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 2, 2010 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 272 Bainbridge St., Dayton, with Fr. Rick Friebel celebrant. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Trinity Center immediately following the Mass. Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road.
