Mary A. Applegate

Mary A. Applegate, age 86 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2025. She was born February 6, 1939 in Fairborn, Ohio daughter of the late Edison and Mary Margaret Applegate.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful member of the Faith Deliverance Church of God in Christ for over 40 plus years. Mary had a heart of Gold, a woman of quiet strength and profound wisdom. She loved to cook, bake, travel, and spend time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. 

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie (Rose) Applegate, Richard Applegate, Ronald (Brenda) Applegate, and Daniel "Danny" Applegate; and niece, Rhonda Graley. 

She is survived by her children, Anthony (Jennifer) Stephens, Angela Applegate, and Amber Coffey; grandchildren, Tracy, Jordan, Ashley, Destiny, Jalen (Daisha), and Brianna; great granddaughter, Alana; nieces and nephews, Eddie, Teresa, Ronnie, Kevin, Michelle, James, Christopher, and special nephew, James "Jamie"; several great nieces and nephews; a host of nieces and nephews within the Stephens and Hayes family; as well as numerous other family members and friends. 

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 10am-11am at Faith Deliverance Church of God in Christ, 450 Turner Road, Dayton, Ohio 45415. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am at the Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
