Marvin Collins Wilmoth, 98, passed peacefully into eternity on Monday, September 16th, 2024, in his home in Dayton, Ohio.
Marvin was a veteran of World War II and proudly served in the Navy after enlisting on his 18th birthday.
Marvin was preceded in death by his dear wife of 67 years, Bette; and son, Jeff.
Marvin is survived by his son, Steve Wilmoth; grandchildren, Shane Wilmoth, Cherie (Ryan) Rothfuss, and Justin (Stephanie) Wilmoth; great grandchildren, Peyton, Nash, and Barrett Wilmoth, and Isaac Rothfuss; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He had a long and dedicated career at NCR, loved sports, jigsaw puzzles, growing vegetables in his garden, and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm, with Pastor Justin Green officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
