Marvin Naas

NAAS, Marvin Lee, age 89, peacefully left the temporal for the eternal on September 7, 2011. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, North Dayton Anglers Club and the Huber Heights VFW. Marvin loved to fish and yell at the Reds on T.V. He served his country as an airman during World War II and the Korean conflict. He retired from the Air Force in 1968 after 24 years of honorable service. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Thelma and brother Edward. He will be greatly missed by his sister Janet and three daughters, Janel, Teresa and Beverly. God blessed Marvin with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A visitation will take place on Sunday September 11, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will be held on Monday September 12, 2011 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 22 Notre Dame Ave. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Dr. All services are open to friends and family.
