Marvin Miller, Jr., age 81, passed away Tuesday May 8, 2012 at Sycamore Hospital Miamisburg, OH.
He was born in Dayton, OH on August 23, 1930. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin and mother, Emilie.
Marvin is survived by his 3 children, daughter, Lynn (Hans) Schulter of Los Angeles, CA, son Mark (Kim) Miller of Miamisburg, OH and son Daniel (Terri) Miller of Beavercreek, OH. Marvin is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Andrea (Matt) Quick, Ashley Miller, Kirsten Schulter, Lauren Miller, Katie Miller, Kelsey Schulter and Lisa Miller. Marvin is also survived 4 great grandchildren, Olivia, Garrett, Austin and Hudson. Marvin is also survived in loving memory by long time companion, Evelyn.
Marvin was a senior partner with Heritage Realtors from 1973 through his retirement in 2001. He served on the Board of Realtors as President in 1974. Marvin was a veteran of the Korean War as a military police officer from 1951-1954. He loved fishing, golf and most of all loved his seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday May 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 12:00-1:00 pm.
Pastor Bob Miller to officiate services.
Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, N. Dixie Dr.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
