Marvin Klenke
February 14, 1924 — June 29, 2013
KLENKE, Marvin, age 89, passed away at home on June 29, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerhard Klenke and Leona Lane, 3 brothers: Robert Klenke, Edgar Lane and Franklin Lane, and sister, Betty Moore, and his great-granddaughter, Kaylan.
He proudly served his country in WWII, and then later retired from NCR and Deuer Manufacturing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Elaine (O'Brien) Klenke, children: Susan Klenke, Robert Klenke and Joyce (& Scott) Dunham. Also surviving are his 5 grandchildren: Anna (& Nate) Makiewicz, Abbey Klenke, Ryan Dunham, Meghan (& Steve) Boehmer, and Kyle Dunham; 2 great-grandchildren, Isabella and Maya Robinson; and nieces Gloria Soncarato and Pat Spence.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013, 9:00 -10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30 AM.
Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions may be directed to The Wounded Warrior Project.
