HARMON, Marvin D., Age 77, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at his West Carrollton home. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester Harmon and Cora (Fosnaugh) Harmon and brother Paul Harmon. Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Terry (Goforth) Harmon, brother Bob Harmon and his wife, Melanie Harmon of Tennessee, daughter, Lori Cox and her husband, Jon Cox of Springfield, grandchildren, Joshua Luzius and his wife, Crystal Luzius of Centerville and Nicole Luzius of Centerville, great-grand children, Hailey and Holly Luzius, and many other close family members. He proudly served in the Air Force before retiring from the Harrison Radiator division of General Motors after 39 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, loved the outdoors and was an avid fly-fisherman. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 9927, the American Legion Post 165, and the Moose Lodge #1645. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd.). A funeral service will immediately follow at that location. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, W. Carrollton. If desired, donations may be made in Marvin's name to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave) or the American Cancer Society.
