Marvin G. Ballinger

BALLINGER, Marvin, age 92, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Velma; sons, Richard (Shirlie) and Mark (Genia); sister, Ethel Drake (age 99); 5 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents; 8 siblings; son, Mack, and step-granddaughter, Marilee. He worked as a sub-contractor for Kendal Construction and was an avid boater. He was a former member of the Troy Boat Club. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Clover Cemetery, Williamsburg, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
