ELDRIDGE, Marvin, age 79, of Dayton, died Thursday, July 21, 2005. He was born July 12, 1926 in Dayton the son of Hubert C. and Rose (Smith) Eldridge. Marvin was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army, retired from Montgomery County Board of MRDD, and worked for Dayton Press. He is survived by his wife Phyllis; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Richard Mulholland of Arizona, Delores and Fred Parlett of Dayton; one son and daughter-in-law, Clifton B. and Pat Eldridge of Kentucky; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; step-mother, Monta Eldridge; two sisters, Geraldine Mutzner of Indiana, Cloda Baird of New Lebanon; two brothers, Herb and Glen Eldridge. He was preceded in death by both parents; one sister, Pauline; and one brother William; one grandson, Willis Eldridge. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, 2005 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with graveside services to follow at Trissel Cemetery in New Lebanon.
