Marvin Travis Bullman, age 71 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1950 in Caryville, Tennessee, the son of the late Elmer and Naomi Bullman.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant son, Baby Bullman; brothers, Bruce Bullman and Vaughn (Vivian) Bullman; brother-in-law, Bob Lynch; and in-laws, William and Jane Beilharz.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen; children, Matt Bullman, Michelle (David) LeVan; grandchildren, Alex (Caitlyn), Alan, Destini "DJ," Wyatt, Abbi, Izzi; great grandchildren, Colin and Gabriel; siblings, Keith (Darlene) Bullman, Janice Lynch, Shirley (Ronnie) Allen, Rhonda Madden; sister-in-law, Terri Bullman; brother-in-law, William John Beilharz III; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Marvin is veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Era. He was also an Ordained Deacon for 20 years at The Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Marvin enjoyed fishing, bowling, and camping, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and church family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 12:00 pm at The Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (4953 Hamlin Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45414). Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
