Marvin "Brian" McClellan (aka Bub, Dinozzo) passed away May 17, 2022. He was born May 11, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late Ralph and Lorraine (Calton) McClellan.
Brian was a 1980 graduate of Stebbins High School. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army as a SP4 with numerous awards and ribbons. Brian worked as a certified auto and truck Mechanic for over 41 years from 1981-2022. He actively was involved with the VFW and American Legions of Wilmington, Ohio. He loved music of just about any kind, and played in several Bands later in life. Brian was also an avid Hunter with Jody Abney and Charlie Shoemaker.
Brian should have been a chef instead of a mechanic because he loved to cook. He could duplicate his mothers recipe of chicken and dumplings to the "T". Anyone who ate them always requested a private batch for themselves! He was a loving and giving person who would volunteer or help anyone in need for whatever reason.
Our family would like to thank the following individuals for being there for Brian in his time of need: Charlie and Theresa Shoemaker, Dave Blasky, Jim Cook, Kent Armstrong, Sue Marshall, Bill Binningfield, and his "Harem".
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Linda A. McClellan.
Brian is survived by his sister, Lisa J. and Greg Baker; brother, Ronnie and Margaret McClellan; nieces and nephews, Kelly Schaffer, Kathy Blanton, Sean Hale, Shana Hale; uncles, Wayne Calton, Bill Calton, and Tony Marinelli; along with numerous family members and special friend, Judy Tipton.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A memorial service will begin at 4pm at the Funeral Home. Brian will be interned at Dayton National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in Brian's honor to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6710, Wilmington, Ohio.
