Martin L. Walters, age 63, of Dayton, passed away on July 23, 2022. He was born on October 27, 1958 to Bobby and Katherine Walters.
He was an avid football fan, and his favorite teams were the Lions and the Raiders. He served his community as a Firefighter and Paramedic and retired from the City of Dayton after over 20 years. He was also active in his church, The Ridge. For brief period of time, he served his country as an M.P. in the Air Force.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Katherine Walters.
He will be remembered by his children: Brandon (Shannon Wilson) Welch, Christa (Daniel Allan) Nelson, Shelby (Chris) O'Neal; grandchildren: Caleb, C.J., Liam, Brantley, Gunner, Charles, Amyiah, and Lincoln; mother of his children, Bonnie Walters; siblings: Michael (Jackie) Walters and Margaret Hafner; nieces and nephews: Christopher, Brooke, Sarah, and Niklas; and many extended family and friends.
