Martha J Wilson

Martha Joanne Wilson age 90, of Enon, passed away on October 3, 2023. Joanne was born in Barnesville, Ohio, on May 18, 1933 to Joseph and Mabel Hall.

Joanne was preceded in death by her loving husband Woodie, her parents, and her daughter Joleen (Ted) Wiseman.

She is survived by sons Donald (Lynne), Wilson and Gregg Wilson and son-in-law Ted Wiseman; granddaughters Jennifer Brunk and Michelle (Jonathan) Raymer; grandsons Wes (Sarah) Wiseman and Drew Wiseman; great-grandchildren Isabelle Wright, Hannah Wright, Alyssa Brunk, Tyler Brunk, Oden Wiseman, Rory Wiseman, and Casey Wiseman; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Joanne was married to the love of her life, Woodie, for 72 years. They met on a blind date, and she remained forever devoted to him, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her travels with him to Peru, the Philippines and all over the United States. They made several trips to Canada and Alaska, where they resided for five years which they both particularly loved. She enjoyed water-skiing, cross-country skiing, canoeing, and fishing. On many of these adventures she was accompanied by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a quiet and gentle soul who loved cooking and baking for her family and friends, and simply loved having them around her. She was a Christian woman who is now at peace and reunited with her beloved Woodie.

Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
