Martha Jane Weinert

Martha Jane Weinert, age 80, of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2021. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Elizabeth Weinert; and her brother, Gerald Cooper; and sister-in-law, Betty Cooper.

Martha is survived by her loving husband of over 57 years, Howard Weinert; children, Howard (Tammy) Weinert, Jr., John (Mellisa) Weinert and Michele (Gary) Van Dyke; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; twin sister, Mary Jaynes; siblings, John Cooper, Joann O'Brien and Cecelia Cooper; and many other loving family and friends.


She was a longtime member of the Maranatha Bible Church for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family. Martha was a very caring soul and was always there for those she loved.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm, on Sunday, June 27th, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 28th, 2021, at 1:00pm, at the funeral home, with Pastor Doug Kauffman officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park, Dayton.
