Fisher, Martha Sue "Marty", 76, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 1, 2016.
She was a Docent Emeritus at the Dayton Art Institute. Marty taught 2nd grade at St. Helen's School for 30 years, and was a world traveler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Catherine Fread. Marty is survived by her husband of 52 years, John P. Fisher; daughter, Katie Fisher; son and daughter- in- law, Douglas J. and Julie A. Fisher; granddaughter, Kasie N. Fisher. She is also survived by sister and brother -in -law, Patricia and Joseph Szaruga; nephews, Steve Szaruga and wife Angie, Mike Szaruga and wife Liz; great nephews, Alex Szaruga and wife Jaclyn, Phillip Szaruga; and great niece, Erin Szaruga.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Marty's memory.
