Martha Ann Skusa

Martha Ann Skusa, age 93, of Centerville, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016. She was born April 27, 1923 in Coshocton, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter and Genevieve Weaver.
She retired from the Ohio State Unemployment Office in Lorain, Ohio after 20 years of service and volunteered for several years at Kettering Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawrence Skusa; siblings, Donald Weaver, Helen Bales, Nell Roach; daughter-in-law, Kallie Skusa and son-in-law, John Thorpe.
Martha is survived by her children, Thomas (Barbara) Skusa, Robert (Janie) Skusa, Layne Thorpe, and Lynn Brunotts; sister-in-law, Barbara Weaver; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 pm until the memorial service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Leonard, 8100 Clyo Rd. Centerville, OH 45458 or Hospice of Dayton.
