Mitchell, Martha, 78, of Dayton, made her journey home on Monday, August 8, 2016.
She retired from Dayton Public Schools after 30 years of teaching. Martha was a beloved Sunday school teacher and longtime member of Miamisburg Full Gospel Tabernacle. She was well loved and will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her compassionate and loving heart.
Martha is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband of 50 years, Taylor . She was also preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Pearl Joseph, 2 brothers, Isaac and William Joseph, and 1 sister, Faye Santana.
Martha is survived by her 3 daughters, Debbie (Faron) Bowlin, Linda (Danny) Witt, Patty (Jim) Witt; 5 grandchildren, Brandi(Joe)Hobbins, Josh Bowlin, Emily, Katie, and Megan Witt; 4 great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Sophia, and Abby Bowlin, Jackson Hobbins; 2 sisters, Nancy Harrison, Bernice Engle, 1 brother, Lonnie Joseph, her very special niece, Brenda Santana, and a host of special family and friends.
Visitation, 5:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Healing Heart Church of God, 4251 Powell Rd. Huber Heights, OH 45424. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am Friday at the church. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
