Age 98, formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007, at Dayview Care Center in New Carlisle.
She was born August 24, 1908 to John & Ella Simpson.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Charles F. Pollitt.
She is survived by one daughter, Beatrice I. Price of Dayton; one granddaughter, Kay (& husband, Richard) Collenette of St. Paris, Ohio; one grandson, Scott Price of Middletown, Ohio; five great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Gary Warden will officiate. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
