Martha Leonard

LEONARD (Thaxton), Martha "Cricket", age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 22, 2009. She is preceded in death by her son, Nicholas David Leonard. Martha is survived by her husband of 38 years, Timothy Leonard; children, Michelle (Douglas) Kemp and Michael (Jennifer) Leonard; grandchildren, Darren and Amanda Kemp and Cale and Killian Leonard; several siblings, as well as beloved canine companions, "Maggie" and "Rascals". She enjoyed playing the piano, bowling and volunteering at Kettering Memorial Hospital and Sycamore Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family, and will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm on Friday, May 29, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
