Martha Jane Eversole
Martha J. Eversole, age 86, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 20, 2011.
She was born February 14, 1925 in Richmond, KY to the late Hobert & Rosa Singer.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Eversole; grandson, Harry W. Eversole; brothers, Buford Singer, William C. Singer, Owen Singer and Harold J. Singer; sisters, Jessie Eades and Mable Weaver.
Martha is survived by her sons, Hobert (Sandra) Eversole, David (Janet) Eversole and Greg (Linda) Eversole; daughter, Cheryl (Dwight) Cain; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; brothers, James Russell (Lena) Singer and Raymond Lee (Nellie) Singer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from The Assembly of God in Miamisburg.
Martha was a faithful loving Christian.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wood Glenn Nursing Center and The Hospice of Dayton for their loving care of Martha.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11am at the funeral home, with Brother Swint, of The Miamisburg Assembly of God officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
