Martha J. Buggs, age 74, of Dayton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
She was born on March 5, 1939 in Cedartown, GA to the late Ray & Clara Grier.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Lewis and sister, Polly Sue.
Martha is survived by husband of 52 years, Jewel Buggs; daughter, Kim Grier; grandsons, Terry and Kenneth Grier; siblings, Annie (Anthony) Harris, Rafus (Delores) Grier, Roosevelt (Dot) Grier, Barbara Bostick and Willie (Alice) Grier; uncle, Willie McCombs; aunt, Lorine McCombs; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October, 14, 2013 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at West Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in Martha's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
