Martha Favors

FAVORS, Mrs. Martha passed away Friday, October 3, 2008. A native of Hogansville, GA and a Dayton resident for over 60 years. A nurse & retiree of St. Elizabeth Medical Center, formerly of Dayton, OH. Her many affiliations included; Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church; Licensed Practical Nurses Association of OH; Central State University Parent's Association; Gamma Phi Delta Sorority & Metropolitian Civic Woman. Preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Favors, Sr. and brothers Ben & Rufus Truitt. She leaves to cherish her memory (1) son; Lamar Favors, Jr., (2) daughters; Shirley Favors and Sandra (Rick) Darah, (2) grandchildren; John Darah & Cathy Darah; niece Kay Wilson, and many other friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church., located 4200 Germantown Pike Dayton OH,45418, Rev. Lloyd D. Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm. The service will follow at 12:00pm.
