Martha Earlene Ward, age 66 of Dayton, passed away November 27, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 5, 1946 in Livingston, TN to the late James E. and Delmas L. McAlpin. In addition to her parents, Earlene was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Earlene is survived by her loving husband, David S. Ward, Sr.; children: Steven E. Dodd (Faith), Tammy Lee Stanley (Michael) and David Scott Ward, Jr. (Melonie); grandchildren: Ashley Durham, Mack Murphy, Aaron Ward, Cole Scarbrough and Casaundra Ward; 2 great grandsons: Shannon and Ethan; brother, Albert R. Cook, Jr. (Doris); sister, Daisy Stienecker (Luke); numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Earlene was a member of Northridge Church of Christ.

Pastors Brad Poe and Walter Tolley co-officiating. Contributions may be made in Earlene's memory to the Hospice of the Miami Valley, 46 N. Detroit Street, Suite B, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
