Martha "Denise" Arndts

Martha "Denise" Arndts, age 68 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on August 5, 2024. She was born January 25, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Eugene and Carlene (Parker) Lewis.

Denise was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved being outside in nature, feeling the breeze on her, listening to the sounds around her, and watching for red cardinals, all while enjoying a cup of coffee. Denise enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos, hanging out with her sisters having girl time, and spending time with her husband David. Her family was her pride and joy and she would do anything for anyone in need. Denise will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Bland; brother, Robert Lewis; nephew, Michael Bland; and great niece, Marisah Roberts.

Denise is survived by her husband of 25 years, David Arndts; children, William "Billy" Richie, Jennifer Showalter, Stacie (Dan) Stevens, Sara (Brian) Whitaker, and David Dunham; grandchildren, Kayden Ritchie, Abbie Parker, Sophie Parker, Jonathan Stevens, Benjamin Stevens, Colton Whitaker, and Allie Whitaker; her multipoo, Christopher; sisters, Julie Lewis, Lucinda Kindred; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
