PETREE, Marshall J.

Age 84, went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2015. He was born in Lafollette, TN on August 4, 1930 to the late, Alonzo and Mamie Petree. He is preceded in death by brothers, Leon Petree and Ronald "Buddy" Petree and sisters, Edith Roach, Thelma Longmire, Effie Lawson, and Jewell Mullins.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane Christine Petree; daughters, Sheryl (Willie) Buck and Celia (Denver) Jones; grandchildren, Willie Jr., Billie, Anthony (Wendy), Samantha (Chad), and Melissa; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Genevieve (R.V.) Blankenbickler; brother-in-law, Jack Lawson; sister-in-law, Betty Petree; and numerous other dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

He proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of the Vandalia Masonic Lodge #742. Marshall was an avid golfer, fisherman, a member of the Elm Valley Fishing Club, and a huge Tennessee Volunteer fan.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 12:00pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment will be held at a later date.
