Marsha Lynn Ward, age 59, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018. Marsha was born in Piqua, Ohio to the late John Richards and Barb Richards-Davey. Marsha graduated from National Trail High School in 1975. She went on to work and retire from UPS after 32 years of loyal and dedicated service.
Marsha was a skilled craftswoman and enjoyed woodworking and carpentry in her spare time. She loved to work with her hands and to create. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Marsha was preceded in death by her father, John Richards; mother, Barb Davey; and step-father, Wayne Davey.
Marsha leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband of 30 years, William "Larry" Ward; children, Christopher (Donna) Roddy, Justin Roddy, and Kendra (Seth) Biava; grandchildren, Dani, Noah, Isaiah, Jacob, Lizzy, Wraith, Aurora, Hunter, and Brayton; sisters, Rhonda McFadden, Sondra Bowling, Amy Potter, and Lora Maroney; brother, Daniel Richards; her BFF, Lynn Asztalos; adopted cousins from TN; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Marsha's Life will take place on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 7pm at Newcomer - North Chapel. Family will greet friends and loved ones for three hours prior (4pm-7pm).
