Marsha Lee Schirtzinger, a beloved Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away on December 8th, 2022. She is preceeded in death by her husband Joseph A. Schirtzinger and parents Alfred and Betty Norvell. Marsha is survived by her children Aaron Lee Schirtzinger, Ruth Gifford, Michele Pietrzak, and Schirzar X; her grandchildren: Dennis Schirtzinger and wife Heather, Kelley Beckman and husband Ryan, and Ryan Pietrzak; and great grandchildren: Caitlin, Aiden, Logan, Autumn, Lillian, Alexander, Jasper and Finn.
Over Marshas 40+ year work history she was a bookkeeper, office manager, and systems accountant for several businesses. She had her own cake decorating business providing anything from simple birthday cakes to complex wedding cakes. Marsha also enjoyed camping with her late husband at their trailer on Lake Loramie over the weekends. Some over the years would also remember her as an avid fisherwoman in the 80s. Later in life she dabbled in making arts and crafts from painting wood works, to long ago crafting and painting ceramics that she made with her mother. She and her husband attended many dances in the Dayton area featuring 50s and 60s music and followed their favorite band, Just-N-Tyme.
Marsha will be missed by those she left behind but will be remembered in our hearts until our time to meet again.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, Dayton. A funeral service will follow at 1:30pm. Marsha will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
