Marlene Rentz

Marlene Sabrina Rentz, age 84 of Moraine, and formerly of Georgia, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 29, 1935 in Georgia.

In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her son, Marvin E. Wiley; daughters, Belinda J. Gordon and Mary J. DeVon and siblings, Harold, Billy, Hazel and Annette.

Marlene is survived by her sons, Emmit E. Wiley, Danny R. Wiley and Ronnie K. (Michelle) Wiley; two sisters, Janie and Betty; a brother, Aubrey (Margaret) Rentz; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.

Marlene attended school in Georgia and worked to support her family as a seamstress for Snyder Sewing for many years. Later she was able to provide her natural caregiving skills to many elderly and ill patients at Blakely Hospital and various long-term care facilities. Marlene was a former member of Blakely Church of Christ and spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the beautiful southern weather. She loved to tend to her plants and flowers, taking long walks and caring for her home.

Services are private and Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton will serve as Marlene's final resting place. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton at 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
