Marlene T. Redford, age 81 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Grandview Hospital. She was born December 12, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Marvin and Muriel Clark.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughters, Cheryl Schmalstig and Debra Harris; grandchildren, Shawn Harris and Aaron Zavacky; daughter-in-law, Deborah Murphy.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Jerry Redford; sons, William Murphy Jr., Greg (Pam) Murphy; grandchildren, Greg Murphy Jr., Krista (Angus) McConnell, Bryant Murphy, Denzel Murphy, Shannon (Nick) Stewart, Shonda Gilmore, Jessica Schmalstig, Chelsea Schmalstig, Ryan Brimm, Debbie (Tony) Ryan, Amy Zavacky, Ricky Davis; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Ron (Sandra) Muller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Marlene loved cats, butterflies, gospel music - specifically Linda Randall and the Gaithers. She will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church (4800 Payne Ave, Dayton, OH 45414).
