Mark Steven Weller

Mark Steven Weller age 59, of Kettering, Ohio passed away October 21, 2018.

Mark was born January 31, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Lester Sr. and Ruth Weller. He was united in marriage on July 28, 1984 to Karen Sue Weller.

Mark graduated from Belmont High School. He was employed with Midwest Optical for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bird watching, cars and eating ice cream, but what meant the most to him was spending time with his family.

Everyone who knew Mark, knew that his sense of humor was one-of-a-kind. He would often get himself confused in the middle of the joke and mess up the punchline, but that's what made it a "Mark Joke". Mark's story-telling was second to none. His family and friends knew they needed to pull up a seat and make themselves comfortable when Mark started to tell a story, because they would be there listening to him for a while. He could turn a simple story into an hour long saga.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Lester Weller Sr., Mother, Ruth Weller and his Sister, Joan Schenck.

Survivors include his Wife, Karen Sue of 34 years; Sons, Nicholas Weller and Zachary Weller; Daughter, Lauren (Aaron) Addis; Grandson, Eli Addis; Granddaughter, Audri Addis; Brothers, Lester (Karen) Weller Jr., Bruce (Sue) Weller, Paul (Amy) Weller, Jim (Chris) Weller; Sister-In-Law, Nancy (Tommy) Marsden; many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
