Mark Rowe

April 29, 1959 — March 18, 2024

Mark Steven Rowe born April 29, 1959 passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by his father Lester Rowe.

He is survived by his mother Jean Rowe, his wife Laura Rowe, daughter Courtney Rowe and her wife Raven Rowe, granddaughter Victoria Rowe, sister Angela Rowe and her fiancé Mike Fecher, sister in law Susan Catrine, and several beloved nieces and nephews and their children, Erin and Dave Cuddihy (Mina, Tenju), Sara Jauch and Sean Webster (Jax), Zack and Casandra Qureshi (Seth, Isaac, Garrett), and Laura and Brian Catrine (Charlie).

Mark worked as an electrical and computer engineer, specializing in Embedded System Design, supporting key work for the US government.

His hobbies included camping; fishing; shooting; hunting; riding dirt bikes, motorcycles, and bicycles; fixing cars and motorcycles; watching sports; listening to music; gardening; cooking the perfect piece of meat to share with family and friends; and hiking in the woods.

He was a good friend to everyone he met, and was always there to help a friend or family member in need. He loved dogs, and many loved him. Nothing made him smile bigger than his one year old granddaughter excitedly calling him "Papa". He was a beloved son, husband, father, papa, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation in Mark's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) to fight childhood cancer. Mark was saddened by his cancer diagnosis, but even more saddened that children have to fight this disease.

Mark did not want a traditional service, but instead wanted a party with wings, beer, and memories. Please bring your favorite memory of Mark to share.

A Celebration of Life Party will be held on Friday, April 5th, 2024 at C.I. Beaver Hall (3696 Highmont Street, Beavercreek, OH 45432).
