Mark D. Hooper, age 59 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 3, 2017. He was born August 25, 1957 in Dayton to the late Percy Hooper and Beulah Highley. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry and Larry Hooper.
He is survived by his brother, George (Yasmine) Hooper; sisters, Joyce (Glenn) Hover and Shirley Stolz; nephews, Chris (Amy), Mike, Shawen (Jeranai) and Deniz; nieces, Taylor and Jasmyn; and many other relatives.
Mark loved to imitate the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. His dear friend, Wendell Banks helped Mark express his talent by inviting him to join their band, The Banks Brothers. Mark participated and won first place in the running event during the Ohio Special Olympics.

Visitation will be from 6-7 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel where a funeral service will begin at 7 PM with Pastor Don Godbey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help offset with funeral expenses.
