Mark D. Sobottke

SOBOTTKE, Mark D. Age 85, a good, man passed away peacefully July 20, 2009 after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 26, 1923 in Pierce County, WI. He was a vteran of WW II and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church of Oakwood. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Charlotte R. Sobottke; his daughters Ruth (Norv) Havens of Rome, GA and Blanche Sobottke of Olympia, WA; grandchildren Jon (Elena) Havens of O'Fallon, IL., Amy (Brian) Bee of Toledo, OH, Emily (Jeremy) Dawson of Rome, GA, Sarah Havens of Portland, ME; and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be Friday, July 24, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering, OH at 11 am with Rev. Norv Havens officiating. Friends may visit before the service from 10 am - 11 am. Donations may be made to Concordia Lutheran Pre-School.
