Marjory Thaney

THANEY, Marjory E. (nee Earhart) passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 at age 82. Mother of Patricia (William R. Meyers) O'Connor, of Cincinnati; Joan O. (Richard) Shevchik of Lebanon; Christine M. O'Connor of Cincinnati; and Terry R. (Robert) Riddle of Dayton. Grandmother of Christopher A. Miller, Ahren L. and Lauren G. Cress, Daniel W. and Michael J. Shevchik. She is preceded in death by husband F. Leo Thaney and former husband Lawrence V. O'Connor. Marj was a lifelong Democrat, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3283 and the 40&8 Society. Family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00PM Saturday October 13, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home (North Chapel), 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial will follow visitation at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Technology Resource Center, Vision Center, a 501(3)(c) agency assisting the blind, 1133 Edwin C. Moses #370, Dayton, OH 45408-2094.
