Marjorie Deneen Vertrees

Marjorie Deneen Vertrees "Dee-Dee", age 49 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 29, 2017. She was born May 21, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio. Dee-Dee was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Vertrees; mother, Joyce Vertrees; father-in-law, Wilton "Rabbit" Williams; and companion, William "Billy" Hussey.

Dee-Dee shared two children with her lifetime love, Robert Butt, who survives. She is also survived by their children: Brandy Nicole Butt (Kasey Carver) and Cody Butt (Brittany Davis); granddaughters: Amiyah, Mariyah, Leiyah, Annabelle and Precious; brothers: Wesley "Petey" Vertrees and Matt Patterson; grandmother, Margie Hicks, Coy Hicks; mother-in-law, Pat Skeens; best friends: Jamie, Wanda, Shell, Kim, LaShawn, Winnie and Rachelle "Rocky"; and a host of other family and friends.
