Marjorie A. Seasly

Marjorie A. Seasly, 101, fell asleep in Jesus, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home. She was born on September 22, 1919 to the late William D. and Alma (McFall) Gurney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross H. Seasly.
Marjorie is survived by children, Gordon Seasly, Carol (Stan) Wagenleitner, and William (Karen) Seasly; grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Delvin, Daniel, Kevin, Marla, Bruce, and Brett; eight grandchildren and one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by children, Ross Henry III and Joyce Peterson; siblings, Mary Estey and Bill Gurney.
Marjorie is remembered as a wonderful pianist and organist. She was the first organist with Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was involved heavily in church ministry and regularly volunteered in the church office. Marjorie worked as a bookkeeper for Kettering Medical Center and Spring Valley Academy. She was also the treasurer for the Golden Buckeye senior inter-church group. Marjorie loved her family and being involved in life. She enjoyed traveling.
The family will hold a Memorial Service for Marjorie on June 11, 2021 @ 7:00 p.m. at Kettering Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 3939 Stonebridge Rd, Dayton, OH 45419.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Spring Valley Academy, 1461 Spring Valley Pike, Dayton, OH 45458, in Marjorie's memory.
