Marjorie H. McNeal, age 88, of Dayton, OH passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Our Family Home in Cincinnati Ohio.
Marjorie "Marge" worked at Grandview Hospital in Dayton Ohio as an RN till her retirement in 1989. She volunteered with the" Vintage Program" at the Goodwill in Dayton, was active in senior tap dancing and very active in the Kittyhawk square dancing chapter in Dayton.
She was born on October 2, 1926 in New Madison Ohio to the late Robert and Lucille Gilfillan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence N. McNeal of Dayton Ohio.
Marjorie is survived by her children: Lawrence N. McNeal III, wife Vicki of Moraine, OH, Robin McNeal of New Port Richey, FL, Kim McNeal (deceased), wife Debbie of Miamisburg, OH, Pauletta Burchett of Edgewood, KY, Pamela Poe, husband Gregory of Mentor, OH, and Lee McNeal of Miamisburg, OH; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10 am with funeral service immediately following at 11 am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
