Marjorie Irene Davies Stall went to be with the Lord, surrounded by family Saturday January 10, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. Her 97 years were filled with faith for her Lord, love of her family and amazement of the changes that surrounded her world.
She was born on June 2, 1917, on a farm with no electricity and attending a one room school, she watched and lived through a world that included the '37 flood, a world war where she manufactured machine guns, men going to the moon and computerization. Through all of the changes she never wavered in her faith. She always put others in front of herself. She served as a PTA president, Den mother, and chapter president of the Daughters of America, a member of Calvary Baptist Church since the 1940's. She was a friend to all and a lover of cats and gardening.
She was the daughter of the late Orlando Davies and Edlinie Workman Davies of Dillsboro Indiana. She joins her one and only husband Frank Albert Stall, Sr., whom she married in 1937, and son Frank Albert Stall, Jr. Also preceded in death by her brothers/sisters Clifford, Ruby Mae Eaglin, Helen Marie Greenham, James, Harry Edwin, Irvin, and Albert Howard.
