Marjorie E. Arnold (nee: Trost)
Age 82, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, at The Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties – Lorelei's Place.
Born in Ludlow Falls, Ohio she resided in the Dayton area most of her life, a 1947 graduate of Roosevelt High School. She spent many years as a self-employed professional seamstress and also employed by Simon Dechatlet Dental Lab, Copeland Corporation, National City Mortgage and ended her working years with Fred J. Miller, Inc.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Louise Trost, husband of 63 years, Frederick Arnold, Sr., son, Terry, and grandson, Tony.
Survived by her son, Ray (Milly) Arnold of Sidney, daughter, Rene' (Gary) Anderson of Springboro, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 598, and the ATA Sorority.
The family would like to thank The Hospice of Butler & Warren counties Home Comfort Care and Lorelei's Place professionals for their loving care.
The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 -10:30 a.m., Thursday (4/12) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Heritage Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
