Dean, Marjorie, age 78, of Centerville, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at St. Leonard's.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of over 29 years: Robert Dean; sons: Jim Bernhardt of Indianapolis, Jeff (Karren) Bernhardt of Bellbrook; step-children: Carole Walker of Bellbrook, Bob (Nancy) Dean of Greenville, Cheryle Dean of SanDiego, CA, Jimmy Dean of Centerville, Kelly Dean of Centerville; grandchildren: Jamie, Jon, Jacki, Jenna; step grandchildren: Kris, Ron, Sam; and sister: Harriet (Jack) Zelek of PA. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harold & Louise (Kelsey) Haas, and her first husband: E. N. "Kip" Bernhardt, who was a long time district manager for American Aggregates.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 5, at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Davids Cemetery in Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Dayton, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Leonard's for their wonderful care of Marjorie.
