Marjorie Monica Craver, age 85, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away December 24, 2024. Marjorie was born in Barataria, San Juan, Trindad on April 17, 1939 to the late Elton and Alberta Perry.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sheila Ishmael; brother, Calvert Gooding; nephews, Graham Ishmael and Gary Ishmael; and niece-in-law, Analisia Ishmael.
She is survived by nephew, Gavin Ishmael; nieces-in-laws, Christine Ishmael and Vanessa Ishmael; 12 great nephews and nieces; and 8 great, great nephews and nieces.
Marjorie retired from Kettering Middle School where she served as a volunteer leader for the Muse Machine. She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, now Mosaic, for many years.
In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and playing games. Marjorie was very social and enjoyed being around others. She loved to travel extensively.
She was willful and always enjoyed the moment. She believed in saving the opportunity. Marjorie had a great passion for education and worked towards racial equality.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie's memory to Wesley Dayton (3730 Delphos Avenue, Dayton, OH 45417).
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 16. 2025 at Mosaic Church (350 N. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek). Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am preceding the funeral.
