Marion L. Hicks

Marion L. "Pee Wee" Hicks, age 79, of Riverside, passed away April 14, 2025. He was born February 14, 1946 in Olive Hill, KY to the late Russell and Aletha Hicks. In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Atkinson; siblings: Phillip Hicks, Robert Hicks, Thelma Patrick and Gary Hicks; and nephew, Dwight Hicks.

Marion is survived by his children: Melissa Cummins (Sean) and Edward Hicks (Alicia); 10 grandchildren; brothers: Ronald Hicks and Lloyd Hicks (Donna); special niece, Aletha Bailey (Shawn); best friend, Charlie Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including: Donna and Steve Ray.

Marion was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked for Staco Energy Products and retired from there after many years of service. Marion was a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan, enjoyed taking long walks, playing pool and darts.
